Jason Mraz We sing. We dance. We steal things. (2008) Let me start by saying that if you buy this as a CD you will get the 12 songs listed in this review, if you download from iTunes you will get 25 songs some of which are repeats of the first 12 songs but different recordings. I am reviewing the CD only as, unusually for me I bought this as a CD after being really struck with the couple of songs of his that I heard on the radio. Did I make a good choice in not downloading single tracks? Well lets's see! ~~~The Tracks~~~ 1. Make It Mine Bit of a poppy/folk/soulful start to the album which is pleasant ... *Introduction* I was listening to the radio a couple of weeks ago when I had a track stuck in my head for the first time in a long time. I went home that evening and looked up the title of the song. It was Jason Mraz's Make It Mine. After I had found this out, I logged straight onto my amazon account and purchased his album. *Who is Jason Mraz?* A month or so ago I wouldn't have been able to tell you as before this album was released, I had never heard of him before. Jason Mraz is an American singer-songwriter who was born in Virgina. His musical influences include pop, folk, rock, reggae, jazz and hip hop. You're right, pretty much ... Read the complete review

You may think this is Jason's debut album, but you'd be wrong. Although Jason primarily rose to fame in 2009 largely because of his super smash "I'm Yours", he's been around for a few years & this is actually his third release. The result is a very diverse & eclectic sounding record which is very different from anything else I've heard out there recently. There are some amazing lyrics which can be heard if you listen carefully & you can feel the emotion that Jason has put into each & every track. This is a real feel good album which I think is perfect for having on in the background whilst relaxing in the sun or maybe having a ... Read the complete review

I fell in love with Jason Mraz after being introduced one of his earlier albums 'Mr A - Z' a few years ago by a university friend. I loved his quirky style, original lyrics and soulful voice. So I was eagerly anticipating the release of his third album 'We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things'. Luckily I was holidaying in the USA last year and picked up a copy of it there before it was released in the UK. I certainly wasn't disappointed and found it an even more satisfying listening experience than his previous album. 'We sing We Dance We Steal Things' was released in 2008. It comes in a cardboard case which is very 'Jason Mraz' and inside it features a series of ... Read the complete review

'We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things' is only the 3rd studio album by Mr Mraz, even though he's being touring / releasing EP's since early '98. What's immediately apparent is that this guy doesn't stick to just the one genre, his vocals are pure soul, with the melodies of jack johnson, a small portion folk and a bit of jazz for good measure. i've been a fan of his music for a start, although to be honest, this is a bit of a new direction he's taken. It's seems that Mraz has traded in a portion of his cool to create a better commercial backing. However i do feel this album is a bit more structured than his previous efforts, and to this extent , won't ... Read the complete review
