And the answer to that is a resounding 'yes'. During Elvis' lifetime many albums were released by his record company RCA (now BMG), albums containing both new material, and previously released material. WELCOME TO MY WORLD was one of the albums which contained only 10 songs, 9 of which had previously been released. It was originally released in 1977, only a few months prior to The King's premature death. Although fans at the time may have been disappointed by the regurgitating of previously released material, from the vantage point of 2008 all that matters is the music itself - is it worth listening to.
