When I was Born for the 7th Time is perhaps Cornershop's most famous album. It co-incided with the single "Brimful of Asha" which is a well-known hit all over the UK. The album was voted the 68th Greatest British Album ever by Q Magazine in 2000. Mixing dance music, rock and Indian sounds together, they had a very unique sound at that time.
