Advantages: Even better than her debut

She’s back with a new album. The first thing I noticed about this was that she has some more upbeat songs on this album and generally a jazzier sound. “Fast as you can” is a good example of this and was a good choice for her first single. It was Sara Cox’s record of the week on Radio 1. “Limp” and “Paper Bag” are also excellent upbeat songs. “Love Ridden” is a gorgeous mellow track and so is “I Know” which is a brilliant ending to the album.

When the Pawn surpasses her excellent debut album and guarantees that she becomes more than a one album wonder. I look forward to her future releases.
