Advantages: A wide selection of styles that caters for all tastes

Written when the group took time out in India, this Beatles great is one of my personal favourites. There is so much variety and so many different tracks to choose from. Also, I am glad to see that the album includes quite a large number of George Harrison songs which are always of high quality and offer a variation to the usual Lennon/McCartney creations (however good they are).

This is a double album with styles ranging from rock to raggae covering every style of music you can think of. The Beatles never stuck to one style in their music like many other similar bands and on this album in particular it is apparent that they wanted variation.

Some of the best tracks on this album include While My Guitar Gently Weeps (Harrison), Happiness Is A Warm Gun (Lennon/McCartney), Long Long Long (Harrison) and the brilliant titled Everybody's Got Something To Hide Except Me And My Monkey (Lennon/McCartney).

I can recommend this album to people of all ages and all tastes as it caters for everything out there. Also, the music sounds just as good now and it has been around for over thirty years, so that is saying something.
