... hear the album quite a bit (which isn't necessarily a good thing). I did just about suffer 'Back in My Life' with it's fat analogue synth sounds (takes me back to the 80's -lol!!), and 'Better Off Alone' with it's cleverly produced synth hihat intro that suddenly skips on to the 'off' beat, before boring me senseless. But even less interesting were tracks like 'No More Lies' with it's tedious synth loop and weak vocal, and 'Will I Ever' which was like Cher on a REALLY bad day, with lyrics written by a 4 year old....more

Who Needs Guitars Anyway? - Album Review WHAT IS IT? Who Needs Guitars Anyway? is a 14 track album by Dutch, all girl band Alice Deejay, that was released way back at the turn of the millennium. The style of music on offer here is what I'd describe as Dance Trance music -lol!! and is a million miles away from the sort of music that would normally grace my CD player. However my girlfriend had this on in her car for a few weeks, so I got to hear the album quite a bit (which isn't necessarily a good thing). Great tunes, good mixing, nice sequencing. Shame the "Clubber's Guide"s have gone down in quality.

The Open Door - Evanescence
Some great tracks one or two tracks that lack a little

The Mask And The Mirror - Loreena McKennitt
emotive and beautiful music deffinatley suitable only for those quieter moments

The Great Western - James Dean Bradfield
His ebullient yelp and some soaring melodies Too many downbeat moments

Stacie Orrico - Stacie Orrico
A couple of stand out tracks Mostly no more than average

Revolution In Me - Siobhan Donaghy
Unique, unusual sound with no fillers, thought-provoking lyrics and brilliat vocals! None!

The Very Best Of Bananarama - Bananarama
Really Saying Something, Robert De Niro's Waiting, I Heard A Rumour It Ain't What You Do, Rough Justice, Venus, All the 90s stuff

Zennou Naru Musuu No Me Wa Shi O Yubisasu - Balzac
A harder and heavier approach to prove the band's punk rock integrity. Material itself is weak and uninspired.

Counting Down The Days - Natalie Imbruglia
A real hidden gem of an album, Natalie has the voiced of an angel.... Some tracks may be a bit downbeat and too easy-going for some listeners

Blasfemia Eternal - Ancient Rites
Clear signs of advancement. Not quite sure where they're headed.
