Wizard of the Hood is Violent J of the Insane Clown Posse's 2003 concept solo album. The album is Violent J's take on the Wizard of Oz story told gradually track by track in an urban setting, with J taking the role of Dorothy searching for a way home. History of Wizard of the Hood in ICP Folklore Originally the concept for a Wizard of the Hood track came from the 'Intelligence and Violence' album Violent J recorded with a local Detroit rapper named D-Lyrical, with a track name of 'Wizard of Delray'.
