After such a long time some people probably doubted that Suggsy, Barson etc would be able to recapture the same lyrical genius. With this album they have succeeded, although the 3 singles released were all woefully undersold. Lovestruck for example got to number 10 in the charts, when in a chart with taste, it surely would of got to number 1. Lovestruck ********** - the most popular single and was surely my contender for single of the year, lyrically and musically this song was a tour de force. Madness have the uncanny knack of taking a subject such as alcohol abuse, and turning it into a jaunty sing along tune. The lyrics were ...

I was in a pub 4 weeks ago when I heard that song, "Love struck". It was from one of the best british music band, MADNESS !!!!!! I decided to go and buy the CD, I went to HMV, I bought the CD, I went home. I played the CD, and ever since, I listen to the CD all the time. I listen to it at home, at work in my office, in the car. Well, virtually everywhere. I am french, and adapting my musical taste to the actual british music was a bit difficult. With songs such as 'The Communicator', 'Satruday Night, Sunday Morning' and 'The Wizard' we get to see the kind of wacky Madness we all knew and loved early in their career and we also get songs like '4am' and 'Elysium' which epitimised some of their laster music - the best of both worlds in my mind. We also get treated to a song performed alongside the late great Ian Dury, 'Drip Fed Fred', apparently connected with the London Mayoral Campaign of earlier this year. Then, as ...
Products similar to Wonderful - Madness
State Of Euphoria - Anthrax
More of the same for devoted fans of the previous album.
Boring as a result, and very samey throughout.
Sabotage - Black Sabbath
More consistent continuation of the previous album's style, with great performances all round.
Few stand-out classics, especially in the second half.
Rock And Roll Music - Elvis Costello
New Wave & Post-punk - 2007
Persistence Of Time - Anthrax
More technical, melodic, heavy, varied, epic and powerful than anything else the band would release.
A couple of songs still sound similar.
Just Like You - Keyshia Cole
Voice, sounds, lyrics, great hifi test
Not a lot
Ghetto Love - Jaheim
Great vocals, interesting setting
