The was Erasure's first studio album, released in 1986 & contains the following tracks:- 01) Who Needs Love Like That: Originally a chart flop when it was first released, it made number 10 when it was remixed & re-released in 1992. It's a rather, catchy opening number with a strong vocal from Andy &, im my opinion, better than the 1992 remix. 02) Reunion: Mid-tempo number about a couple getting back together in which Andy sings "Reunion, together this time, Reunion, forever be mine" a little too often for my liking. 03) Cry So Easy: Another mid-tempo number which, like Reunion, is a little ... As is the case with Erasure right through to the present day, there's plenty of simple electronic pop on offer here, the majority of it listenable and not too embarassingly '80s. As debut albums go however it's not fantastic - the fact that the three singles lifted from it all bombed shows that they had some work to do. Some of the tracks are classic Erasure pop - 'Who Needs Love Like That' (Erasure's debut single), 'Push Me Shove Me', 'Cry So Easy', 'Heavenly Action' and ... Read the complete review
