Some moving, intense songs. Some experimental style tracks which don't work outside of the movie.

at turns, beautiful, brooding, haunting, light and dramatic overall a dark resonance to the music

Mostly pleasant listening and has some quite good ideas But when it comes to execution falters down into generic blandness

Gorgeous First Contact theme, menacing Borg theme Little in the way of outstanding material anywhere

A more mature take on the Caribbean series It's still largely garbage

Some great rhythm and blues Film Dialogue in the wrong places

Great beats. Consistent. Rhymes are weak at times

The Great Cold Distance - Katatonia
Consistent. Very dull and repetitive.

Viva Emptiness - Katatonia
At least there's no rap, I guess? Irritating pandering to the mainstream rock audience.

Armada - Keep Of Kalessin
Strong, creative black metal, without over-reliance on symphonic elements. Sometimes, you might fancy something a little simpler.

Chaos Is My Name - Khlyst
Something different. There's a reason no other album sounds like this.

Coma Of Souls - Kreator
Angry thrash classics, great musical performance. Repetitive rhythms.

Einsamkeit - Lacrimosa
Goth - 2004

Extreme Aggression - Kreator
One of the all time top 10 of thrash metal albums None

Crucify My Heart - Lullacry
Something ever-so-slightly different for gothic metal fans. Run-of-the-mill instrumentation.
