Coldplay's album titled, X and Y is the latest album from the indie rock band.
The album consists of twelve tracks.

SQUARE ONE opens the album. When I first heard this it was apparent that it is featured in adverts and other television programmes so is instantly recognisable and a great opening track.

My favourite track on the album is FIX YOU a beautiful ballad written by Chris Martin to his wife Gwyneth Paltrow. It starts off slow then suddenly comes into life with the guitar towards the end. A wonderful song full off passion.

TALK is another song that has a memorable chorus. Great lyrics in this track and wonderful guitar work.

SPEED OF SOUND was the first single released on the album. A great fast paced song that is easy to sing along to.

THE HARDEST PART is another song that is easy to sing along with. This song has wonderful lyrics. Martin almost talks through this song, but is suits it perfectly.

WHAT IF and SWALLOWED IN THE SEA are slow songs full off passion. The lyrics touch on lost love and really move you as you listen.

WHITE SHADOWS and X AND Y are songs that show off Chris Martin's wonderful vocals. His unique sound is emphasised in these tracks and are really wonderful songs.

A MESSAGE and LOW are two tracks that really emphasise how the band can nail fasty paced songs with these slower tracks. The mixture between the music and Martin's vocals really combine well in these songs.

TWISTED LOGIC ends the album with a song that oozes guitar and drums with great lyrics and a great sound.

COLDPLAY's X and Y shows that the band show no sign of detiorating. Everything is on song in this album with Martin's vocals, the guitar and drums plus the lyrics all clicking.
