Feeder are now established in the big leagues of British rock music now, a new arena tour in support of Coldplay earlier this year is followed by their own arena shows to promote their latest album Comfort in Sound. Hopefully their new fans collected from their last two albums that brought them a much larger fan base will have investigated the bands previous releases. While some of their newer stuff hints too much at commercial pop, they have made an album that could be able to please most people. Yesterday Went Too Soon was the second full album from Feeder. It combines loud guitar music with catchy hooks, attractive lyrics and melodies and ends up with ... Read the complete review

This album by feeder I consider to be their best. The cover has a car speeding off and the songs are on the front as opposed to the reverse. Anaesthetic - The chorus of this song is the only calm part of the song which is the complete opposite of the rest of the song. The verse and intro are straight bang in your face! Fast playing and hard sang lyrics. Insomnia - A heavy rock intro which is what we expect from feeder, Grant sings with almost a bit of a husky voice. But it works amazingly well. The verses seem relatively calm, yet are catchy and you can still dance around to them. The chorus however is in your face and gets noticed. Fast ... Read the complete review

[Introduction] ------------- I had not heard of Feeder until they released "Echo Park" in 2001, and I was drawn to this band by the cool, upbeat first release from Echo Park; Buck Rogers. After buying Echo Park, and hearing my personal favourites "Seven Days In The Sun", "Tell All Your Friends" & "Under The Weather" I went on to buy Yesterday Went Too Soon. Yesterday Went Too Soon is a mix of hard, rockin' tunes and slow, mellow melodies. [The Band] ---------- The band consisted (past tense after the tragic death of drummer John Henry Lee)of: Grant Nicholas - Lead guitar & vocals Taka ... Read the complete review

Feeder are one of my favorite bands at the moment, their great combination of guitar rock, meaningful lyrics, sweet vocals and strong drumming make them one of the most promising British bands around at the moment. By bands I mean real bands that play instruments and make REAL music, not boy bands, just listen to one of their albums and you will know what I mean. For those of you that do not know Feeder are a three piece band, with front man Grant Nicholas on vocals, lead guitars as well as songwriter, Jon Henry Lee the drummer and Taka Hirose the Japanese bassist. Nicholas and Lee are both from South Wales, and combined as the current Feeder in London a few ... Read the complete review

This album by Feeder came out back in 1999. Yesterday Went To Soon was a big hit for the band and really started there careers. I bought this album ten years ago but still sometimes give it a listen. He is what I think of each song: 1. Anaesthetic - A good solid start to the album. This has a typical feeder sound to it, some nice riffs and big beats. Its quite a fast song and sets the album up nicely. 4/5 2. Insomnia - Possibly one of the most under rated songs in history. Most of you will never have heard this song, its something quite special. I could write my entire review on this song alone. It is the best song ever to drive to, run to, ... Read the complete review
