3) JAMBALAYA
This old standard begins with some lovely, almost boogie-style piano, then Linda and Van take the vocals. Jambalaya isn't one of my favourite songs, but I have to say this isn't a bad version of it. I just wish Linda's voice wouldn't strain so much on the high notes; Van can mostly get away with it, as he has character in his voice that Linda lacks. Sh...more |
