The thing I like about this compilation is that it doesn t linger on the more well-known Artists or focus on the Palm Desert Scene. The album starts off strongly with the dark "Too stoned" from Denmark s "Gas Giant" not to be confused with the crap American pop band of a similar name. There s a good solid sludgey sound to the album, the lyrics are pretty good, it s actually one of the more commercial sounding tracks on the album although the watery sound at the beginning is a little odd. My earliest memory of hearing a song playing on the radio isn't anything even remotely cool. I recall being in a park one sunny day in 1969 when I was just five and hearing "Sugar Sugar" by the Archies playing. It goes without saying I loved it and even today when I hear the song I am transported back to an altogether more innocent time in my life. "Sugar Sugar" is perhaps the most famous song from the bubblegum pop genre, a genre much derided at the time, probably because it was aimed fairly and squarely at children. UKF Bass Culture

Krooked - All fall down and Futurebound - Blind Cobblers Thumb (Tantrum Desire Remix). The Dubstep however is pretty poor. There are a few good tracks from the genre by Artists Gemini and 16Bit. The rest are poor as it seems UKF have just tried to get the tracks with the heaviest, loudest, robotic sounds. CD 2 has mostly drum and bass tracks and a few dubstep tracks. I enjoyed this cd much more than the first. The cd has most of the popular drum and bass tracks of 2011 so far which sound pretty good.
