The Ohio Funk band Zapp brought their second album in 1982, "Zapp II", which had them follow on from a Parliament-Funkadelic-inspired debut which featured the talent of the likes of Bootsy Collins alongside the Troutman Brothers (Roger, Larry, Tony, Terry and Lester) 1. "Dance Floor" To get this, their second album, underway, you have them beginning things in the way that they appeared to before as you have them on a slapping groove which reminds me of what they came with on "More Bounce To The Ounce". Not all of the album is particularly impressive.

Bouncy and truly exciting powerpop music, tremendous fun to listen to.
A couple of the tracks here are a little disappointing.
