Gloria Gaynor ... more  ... is at hand for those typical sort of women whose creativity is severely stifled when it comes to choosing songs to do at karaoke. 'I Will Survive' is a good disco track, but all that self empowerment nonsense grates after a few years.
I enjoy 'Hotel California' which is so chilled you can almost see the ice forming on it, though it would need a suitably smooth vocal to complete the mellow mood.

Argh! I can hear you screaming already as I get underway with yet another venture into the dodgy world of karaoke. The Zoom series prove ever reliable with their karaoke cds, this one takes us back to the seventies. I was not a child of the seventies, but I can still waffle at length about some of the tracks on here, so here come the highs and lows! Spread over three discs and comprising an impressive fifty songs, the first disc gets underway with some real classics.
