Visit if you want to try something different

The BAC is a performance centre near Clapham Junction Train station and a quick bus ride from Stockwell or Clapham Common underground. It is one of the best London venues for experimental theatre and as such a great place to go if you want to have a different stage experience to those offered by the more mainstream theatres.
The BAC often holds performances at the developmental stage of productions which allows theatre groups to test out their ideas and gain audience input. This is something which I haven't seen at many other theatres and is one of the things that sets the BAC apart. It also means that you don't have to pay for a production and anyone worried about going to the theatre on a budget should try out these developmental shows. Not that the fully conceived plays at the BAC are expensive. Adult tickets are often below £15 which is a great price for the chance to see cutting edge, exciting new theatre. In addition to this, concession prices are often offered and for some productions there is a "Pay-What-You-Can Tuesday" to encourage attendance from those who would not otherwise be able to afford to go the theatre.
All in all its a great place to visit and see some challenging, new plays.
