Festival Too at King's Lynn (Festivals in general)
Member Name: Jimbo69
Advantages: All free Disadvantages: Sound not brilliant but enjoyable
Festival Too is a local festival held every year in the small Historic town of King's Lynn in West Norfolk. Street entertainers take over the town centre during the festival days and in the evenings the Market place is transformed to hold a stage for the preformers and a small funfair. Last saturday night i watched Edwin Starr and his band, they had been to king's Lynn before and they performed a wonderful 90 minute set of all his hits and his favourites. For a small market town, i had never seen such a turn out. There must have been over 10,000 people all crammed into the square! The atmosphere was really jumping and it was great to see so many familyies all out to enjoy an evening of FREE entertainment. The festival continues for another week and ends with the famous Tremeloes band. So if you enjoy Tribute bands galore and well known pop groups from the past , why not pop down to West Norfolk and have a great night out and remember its all FREE!!!! Summary: |
