Advantages: Sexy guys, Great music, Concert versions are better than their CD versions

Disadvantages: You try and find a disadvantage!

InMe: what can I say? They are the best band ever to hit the universe.

I'd been waiting for December 18th for a long time, and trust me, was I glad that I got tickets to see them at the Astoria! As I joined the seemingly endless queue to get in, I was bouncing from side to side with excitement! To think about it, damn that queue was long. By the time I got around to the side of the building, I could hear guitars, basses and drums; I half-panicked, thinking I'd missed InMe. Obviously I hadn't. My friend assured me that it was only a supporting band. Or just some random CD turned up real damn loud. No idea who or what it was though, 'cause I missed it. Duh.

When we were finally admitted into the venue, we were waiting for what seemed forever, just for the, perhaps second, supporting band to come on, which happened to be Crackout. They weren't too bad, but they weren't my taste. Their songs just weren't catchy enough to my ears. The only part I purely enjoyed from that was the moshing; it wasn't too violent. Yet. And even so, by that time, I'd already managed to lose my shoe among the moshers.

As soon as InMe came on stage, there was a huge cheer. When Dave hit that first note for their radio-friendly single, Crushed Like Fruit, the cheering of the crowd became absolute screaming; it was beautiful! They also played the melancholy Gelosea, the big hit Neptune, the rocking Underdose and Mosaic, the softer classic Firefly [to which the band let the audience sing a part of 'It's all over now, you've killed me', and the audience contributed gladly], and three of their new songs from the new album, Sansarin [said to come out in late April - my birthday, hint hint].

My pie, I just can't describe how good that concert was. My ears were ringing with Dave's angelic falsettos and beast-like growls, and Joe's energetic bounding on the stage, and Simon's mad, but extremely good,

drumming. Damn, I love this band. This is no mere one-hit wonder; they will be big. Very big.
