Newest Review: ... me I am sure. Accomodation is limited I think, so take care with 'digs' camping/caravans are catered for but limited. If you can go to it I suggest one of the bigger hotels because they are most certain to host one of the venues and it's nice to just roll into bed after a late night of folk singing and, dare I say drinking? The Fylde coast is fabulous and you are bound to get a more than adequate seasoning of maritime folk songs. Can I just please, please mention here that I have just today come back from the Lancaster Maritime festival and it has been TOP NOTCH, EVERY venue was free and I do hope Lancaster keep supporting this ... more

We have been to the Fylde Folk Festival for the last few years and it DOES rate up there with the best. August 31 to Sept 2 is only the weekend but there is so much to cram in that the three days Fri, Sat, Sun. are full to the brim with top entertainers in the folk scene. There are so many singers to see that they are too numerous to mention in this short opinion, better go to the website and check it for yourself and you will agree with me I am sure.
