Advantages: good head liners

Disadvantages: not enough mud!!

Glastonbury 2000 is one of the biggest festivals in the world,the festival has a number of stages for differnt kinds of music.This year on the Friday evening, The Chemical Brothers head lined the main stage, Travis head lined on Saturday evening and David Bowie was on Sunday evening. This year the weather was better than it usually is it actually was sunny instead of rain and mud and more mud!!! There were also a number of other stages where not so famous bands could play.

The headliners at this years Glastonbury festival were boring to say the least, not enough attention was given to the smaller bands who played the other stages, who were ten times better than any of the headliners. A perfect circle on the other stage on the friday morning were my personal favourites at the festival, they came on to the stage and rocked the place out. Glastonbury festival isn't just about the bands though, there was the cabaret tent where different comedians and caberet acts performed and then all of the different things happening in the glade, the stone circle, the ceremonial burning of the wicker man etc.... The stars of the festival were definately A Perfect circle, Cypress Hill, Herbaliser, Moby, Live, Lynden David Hall and basically not the headliners, but the littler bands that made the festival what it is.
