First time I went to a festival and I lost my Glastonbury virginity to Rolf Harris! Sounds odd, I know but anyone who saw the great Rolfaroo in action on the Avalon stage/tent will know what I mean. The guy who followed Tie Me Kangaroo Down, Sport with Edwyn Collins' Girl Like You didn't get any reviews from the press who were to concerned with Travis, Bowie and the Chemical Bros.

However, the crowd who gathered to see Rolf stretched all the way back to the Jazz Stage and that's a long way! And I doubt anyone will forget being in the middle of that. Everyone was just having a laugh. After all, it's not just "all about the music, man (peace sign)!". That was the right festival spirit!

And if you were one of the women at the back who said "come to the back, Rolf, and let us throw our knickers at you!", good on you love!!!!
