The first time I had the pleasure of visiting King Tut's Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow was on the 13th of June, the day before my birthday, for the NME "Bring it on" events. The headliner was mental London art rock/punkers Ikara Colt, and they were supported by Glasgow bands Kain and Terra Diablo. I loved it so much that I've been taking the bus to Glasgow a couple of times a week since. OK, that and the fact that they have the sexiest barman I have EVER seen.
