... and Co, a tribute to Free and Bad Company. The Wharf, Tavistock, Devon. 15/08/09 Tickets £8 in advance or £10 on the door. Waveydavey? Are you there? This one s for you dude. I m a bit late getting this done. Sorry. Tribute bands. What ever you think, they re here to stay. Some hate em, others love em. Me? Well I can see both sides of the argument. To some they are just cover bands. The sort o... Read the full review: Free and Co, a tribute to Free and Bad Company. by Farting Weasel |

It is, however, their live performances that continue to make headlines as they sell out venues worldwide with their extravagant, over-the-top blend of pop, rock, classical and electronica. The atmosphere in standing was absolutely electric, the buzz from the audience was intense. Then as the curtains dropped, you saw three 40ft pillars, with the band playing in the middle of them in a cut out bit of them, about 12ft up. Uprising was the first song to be played, the crowd completely hyped up, it was a fantastic opener, wit... Read the full review: Muse truly do not do average. by MattJames |

PJ Harvey - live ... my friends best attempts I never really got into any of P.J. Harvey s albums although I always liked her sound - just pure laziness on my part. However, I have attended several of her concerts (both bizarrely in Brighton - how s that for some alliteration) so consider myself more than qualified to judge her on her stage skills even if I can t really judge her music. The first concert was at the Brighton Centre many moons ago, her last album released having been Uh Huh Her (2004) and the first thing that struck me about P.J. Harvey was how much of a shrinking violet she seemed. The only words she spoke were a few heartfelt thanks - but then she is one of the fe...
