Westlife in Concert: ... are one of those bands who have sang covers and covers and have hit the top of the charts 11 times, considerbly 3 out of 5 of their albums have gone to Number one as well. This must say, that indeed the quality of the music must be good, and they must have some sort of loyal and consitant fanbase. Typically, the average fan is female, but male fans do also like Westlife. The fanbase for Westlife appears to b...

... dad and I have always had similar tastes in just about everything, and so it was no surprise a few years ago that we got talking and decided that we'd both like to see Jools Holland perform live. He was performing in Glasgow just before Christmas, so we decided to make a day of it and go into the city for some Christmas shopping before heading into the SECC for the show. We'd booked tickets at the last minute, so we had pretty rubbish seats up in the balcony, and I was so exhausted after trudging round the busy shops all day that by the time I'd settled down in the theatre I was feeling more...

exraven Marilyn Manson
... Instead of ranting on about how great Marilyn Manson is and how much i love his music and how ignorant people can be (and they can. I can't even begin to describe how ignorant. Particularly years ago while still at school rock music and Marilyn Manson were 'weird' and those who did not conform to the normal 'nice happy pop music and wearing Adidas or whatever' were 'freaks' and put up with much hassle over nothing....yes I'm still a little bitter and twisted about that one..sorry) I'm going to try and explain a few things. For starters just who is Marilyn Manson? Well with the new-found 'popularity of rock music these days ( seem...

a25086761 Muse
... be quite honest I originally heard Muse for the first time after the release of their album Showbiz and was taken aback by their powerful lyrics backed up be a great talent and use of musical instruments. Tracks such as Muscle Museum, Plug in Baby and Sunburn. I got the C.D and listened to them constantly, the music was utterly brilliant. I did think about seeing them live during the summer but one thing led to another and well I had to put it off due to work commitments. Time passed and they were about to release the Origin of Symmetry album and doing a tour of the U.K also coming to Edinburgh. I bought my ticket as soon as I could. Was I in for a shock that night...
