Newest Review: ... to the venue. Once there, we had to wait outside until the doors opened, 45 minutes after the scheduled time. I accept that waiting in a queue for the doors to open is normal, but it would have been nice to know what was going on whilst we were waiting. Inside, the London Arena is huge. There are a couple of bars and fast food outlets but these are expensive (a 500ml bottle of water was £2 at the Massive Attack gig) and when I was there they were far from clean. When the gig actually started I was majorly disappointed. I had seen Massive Attack 6 months earlier in Wolverhampton Civic Hall, a small venue with amazing acoustics. The ... more

I have been to London Arena once, to see Massive Attack two years ago. The evening started off by meeting friends at 5pm in central London, from where we got the tube to Bank and then the DLR to Crossharbour & London Arena in Docklands. The arena is directly next door to the DLR station, so it couldn't be easier to get to. Unfortunately, the DLR trains are only a few carriages long so they got very crowded as this was by far the preferred route for people to take to get to the venue.
