Advantages: She's fantastic live

Disadvantages: People are put off by the fact that she was a Spice Girl

After her mediocre 2nd album, Reason, this sees a return to form for the Spice Girl formerly known as Sporty - She's back and she's MUCH rockier and angrier.

I went to see her at Manchester academy in February, and although it was a relatively short gig, she didnt let up for a minute - FULL of energy and note a note out of place.

She performed all of her hits, from her old albums, and her new album, Beautiful Intentions,

Bizarrely, the worst track on it is Next Best Superstar, which is, so far, the only song which has actually been released as a single in the UK - She did also release the fantastic "Better Alone" but this was available only from her website and is now apparently so rare its classed as a collectors item.

Without doubt though, the highlight of the album is the closing track "You'll Get Yours" - an angry, bitter ballad hitting back at all those who have wronger her in the past - If there is any justice in the world, this WILL be released as a single and receive the recognition it deserves!!!!

Even if you are not a Melanie C fan, try this album, you just may be a fan by the time you've finished listening!!!!
