Newcastle Arena is one of the largest concert venues in the country, and is always a stop on some of the biggest bands and singers in the world. There is often a concert going on here, sometimes every two weeks, and it is such a popular venue, that the likes of Girls Aloud are adding extra dates onto their tour, just to come back to Newcastle Arean. People from all over the nation come here to see their favourite acts. In addition to this, the stadium is just so big, being able to hold thousands of people very easily. There are stands on three sides, with the stage being at the front. You can also buy standing tickets which are a little cheaper, and there are always people walking around willing to fill up your drink. This arena is also the venue for Ice Hockey and Basketball. It can also be easily turned into an ice rink, and has held shows like Disney on Ice and High School Musical on Ice. When you enter the stadium you are greeted by a great of bars and places where you can buy merchandise, which is ofte quite costly. To sum up, this is a brilliant music venue, and has hosted some of the biggest acts in the business.
