If there were any tour to go and see before you die i would have to recommend this one. Performing songs from her I'm not dead album Alecia Moore even performs some tracks from previous albums. With a number of deifferent dances, outfits, costumes, singing stryles and stunts there is never a boring moment from the minutes she starts till she stops. With acrobatic stunts to cheorographed dances theres nothing to bore you at a;; throughout the whole show, and you'll leave wondering how she did it all so effortlessly.
The "I'm Not Dead" tour is one of many for Alecia Moore, aka punchy, feminist top-charter Pink. Featuring songs from her album I'm Not Dead, she performed all over the world, including the 02 arena, London, with the help of hits such as "Stupid Girls", "Who Knew" and "U + Ur Hand".
Along with the 13 tunes on the record, she didn't disappoint in person. Filled with trapeze-type surprises, the packed venue awaited to see her jump out from backstage in a variety of costumes, including leotards. All set up with a mic and big hair, she wowed the crowd with dance routines, which stood out in comparison to slower numbers with acoustic guitars and support acts like the Indigo Girls, who featured with their strumming guitar sounds and hollow sweet voices in emotional and heart-felt song "Dear Mr President"; arguably targeted at previous USA president George Bush. An apparent strong support of Obama though!
The 30 year old Californian pop-punk princess sure bounced back after a break to take her fourth album, despite alleged personal problems. Shes a fighter and her passion shone through in the four hour performances.
Apparently though, her marriage to rockstar Carey Hart is meant to be back on track though after it was released that they were never actually divorced! Meanwhile, her new album "Funhouse" is a must-have....Watch this space!
