Seafood - Live 2002Newest Review: ... she’d only ever enjoyed before when drunk, but tonight they put on a surprisingly good show. I don’t know any of their songs, but third one in was the best(!) And at least they have more audience interaction (helped perhaps by the local crowd) – the singer informing us the band are tryi ng to sell their CD, but don’t mind if we’re saving our money for the Seafood album cos it’s great (there’s a lot of mutual appreciation from the bands tonight). 8/10 Jetplane Landing The main support band are described by Ria as ‘... more |

Woohoo, another free gig. I knew in advance Seafood were coming to the Zodiac, and having recently bought their second album ‘When Do We Start Fighting?’ I was very tempted to go. In the end, it just seemed too far away, too much money and I was too busy. Or so I thought; then I got a text from Ria (Ox Stu music ed) asking me if I wanted to go to the gig that night. Well, less than two hours warning and, having been in college, I was dressed completely wrong (I wouldn’t normally go to a gig in a new pair of smart shoes and a ‘Jesus College’ fleece, honest) but I went anyway, even though it was raining.
