Newest Review: ... to the bowl. The que wasn't too bad but I suppose if we'd got there any earlier they would have been (they were already making their way inside). Inside they had so much merchandise - everything from shirts, to knickers. We brought ourselves an oversized programme for a fiver which was a really nice keep sake and had the whole set list in. We found a space to sit, we sat on the outside of ... more

Premium Review Take That Ultimate Tour 2006: Take that and party! (1351 words)

Despite appearances I have been a die hard Take That fan since I was about 6 years old. When they broke up, I was devestated, I thought my life had ended. "I'LL NEVER GET OVER THIS" I recall sobbing to my mum! Anyway, time went by and needless to say I did. But that blank space in my heart that Take That used to fill remained. No other boyband could fill it. So over 10 years later when I heard Take That had reformed and were planning a tour I was so totally over the moon! I was at college at the time which basically meant I was skint. I tried to think of a hundred different ways I could scrape some money together to go see them. ...  Read the complete review

Take That sold out their tour in a record amount of time, but were they going to live up to the very high expectations that their fans and the media expected of them? Hell Yeah!! This concert did not disappoint and I should know, I went over 10 times! As soon as the operatic music starts, I get goose bumps, which then leads in to shock, I never thought they would open a show with 'Once You've Tasted Love' but it worked. They revamped 'It Only Takes a Minute' into a classy tango number and the mickey take "How to Make a Boy band" was pure genius and shows unlike other bands, they know where they came from and can have fun at the same time. There was ...  Read the complete review

After 10 years the boys are back with an extremely impressive tour. If you have ever been to a take that concert and came out going wow that was fab. Then you'll love this. It really doesn't fail to impress. When you think about them going back on tour you do think about them 10 years ago with the dancing and think god they can't pull that off now. But they have really thought about it in this concert, they do dance, but they pull it off, and the dancing and the whole show is a bit more mature whilst still keeping to the Take that style. The songs perfomed on the tour are: The show opens with the manager phoning for the boys, ...  Read the complete review

Well, where to start?? I was proberly one of TT's older fans the first time around as I am 32 now, so I never had all the posters on the bedroom wall and daydreaming about marrying one of the members (although I have to confess to thinking Jason was kinda cute!). I never had the chance to see them in concert before and to be honest only went to see them by accident this time around. Nevertheless, I was looking forward to going and taking a trip down memory lane! I am a regular concert goer these days and have diverse tastes in music having seen bands from Linkin Park to Simply Red, but I can hand on heart say I have never seen such a fast paced, ...  Read the complete review
