What is it about Fridays on Dooyoo? You log on hoping to read something interesting and there is just a succession of SHITE!

OH WOW ITS REELY COOL AND MY MATE SAID YOU KNOW FINGY, HE SUCKS.
I challenge you - Just look down the list of latest Opinions. Apart from one of two exceptions it is UNMITIGATED SHITE!!

I realise, of course that the moroinic perpetrators of this garbage will not be reading this. In the minute or so that it takes them to read this - they could have written three or four opinions of their own1
'Opinions' - yep, thats a laugh INNIT. Hardly the name for the rubbish that gets doled out in the name of 'opinion' at this time of the week.
I asked WHY? But more to the point ...
WHY BOTHER?
The crap that wastes our time and forces GOOD, WELL CONSTRUCTEED AND WELL WRITTEN stuff out of the latest ops list rather indicates that instead of wasting their time on their PC and WASTING OUR TIME - They should maybe be doing some SKOOL WORK.
Or maybe the 11 plus is easier to pass these days.

- 09/03/02 Have to agree with you on this. I like to think I write ops slightly better than shite. There is a school kid clicking cartel at large at the moment and I think people are just disappearing because they are fed up with it. It least when Jo was on the case things seem to get done about abusers. Can't stop people writing shite though I'm afraid! |

You' re absolutely damn right though. (Rant follows...)
I am sick to the back teeth with the sort of people you're referring to. It's very hard to bite my tongue when I see an op I've slogged over for bloody ages, in some cases spending hours checking one single reference for accuracy, disappear off the bottom of the "New Opinions" screen thanks to "well i saw the neqw nokia xyz-123 in dixonss and my marte told me it was class soa i bort it and it has a tonn of grae t features and i liek textin innit"... you get the idea.
And then when I post a comment explaining my low rating (I always try to do this; it's only fair), if the writer answers at all it's to give me a barrel of abuse for questioning his right to stick any old crap up.
Dooyoo *isn't* a bloody weblog, you idiots: it's a consumer reviews site. With a few exceptions (eg the Creative Writing section) our job is to write articles that *inform* the readers about the topic in question.
Anothe r thing that worries me is the (at least anecdotal) evidence that cheating is being treated more leniently than it should be (I've seen people I trust complaining that repeated offenders are still here), but that's for another op. As I said, though, you're damn right.
