The Darkness – Live Support – The Ark. The Pavilions, Plymouth, 16/02/06 Tickets - £24.50, standing. What a shed this place is. Mostly standing only, it has a small balcony for the nobs, so they don’t have to mingle with the great unwashed. A cavernous hole, it has a capacity for about three and a half thousand sweaty bodies. Not the most intimate of venues I’ve been to. In fact, there is no intimacy at all. The Ark. They are Swedish apparently and I’ve never come across them before.
