The Ting Tings

The Ting Tings are one of those bands that I have known about for a long time and actually had their album in my car for around 10 months, but have never got round to listenind to or getting into until last week and now I can't believe what I have been missing for the past almost a year. The turning point in me wanting to hear more from the band came last Wednesday night as I watched the group play a medley with female pop sensation Estelle at the 2009 Brit Awards. The Ting tings played Carling academy last Monday May 19th. I was there with my husband. We live about an hour away from Oxford and occasionally go to hear bands there. We bought our tickets on line but when we got tom the doors there were still tickets available. Tickets costed £10 each. I bet this is the last time we hear them for a tenner We got into the hall hubby bought some beer for himself I had cider. At about 8 the support group Modernaire. This is the album i have been waiting for all year, i first heard the ting tings on the jools holland show when they sang thats not my name-months ago, i didnt particularly like the song but found myself singing it and it just sort of stuck with me. i got the album on monday and have played it non stop there is good and bad on here but the good out weighs the bad easily. great dj is the first song and how catchy it is, once you hear it you cant forget it. the next song is my favourite thats not my name. i still love this and play it loud all the time track 3 fruit machine, i wasn't keen on this to begin with but again it has hooked me, these guys ...  Read the complete review
