Great wipes for the money - they do the job, you don't have to use tons, and they don't irritate

I purchased these wipes originally because I had a money-off voucher, and I do my weekly shop in Aldi. I was pleasantly surprised - I usually use other supermarket own-brand wipes, and have occasionally used value ones. These are as good as the other supermarket own ones, in my opinion. The packaging is standard fayre for wipes, with a sticky-close opening, and they are easy to pull out one at a time. The stickiness lasts well, and the packaging is good quality for the price.

The wipes are available in fragranced or sensitive. My daughter doesn't have sensitive skin, so I bought the fragranced as I feel is adds freshness after use but that's a personal choice. The fragrance is clean, slightly soapy, typical of baby products and not offensive. The wipes feel moist enough, and on using them to change nappies, I found that they clean effectively and are a reasonable size - no, they are not as thick as branded wipes, but personally I would rather pay less for a mid-range wipe like these. For a wet nappy, I can get away with just one wipe, whereas for a dirty one I tend to use 3 (or more if it's a particularly bad one - apologies for the nappy content talk!). They clean very effectively, and I have had no problems with skin irritation on my child's skin.

As well as nappy changing, I use these wipes to clean my daughter's face / hands in emergencies e.g. chocolate-related mess out and about. With some other wipes I have sometimes noticed a slight pink rash on the face after using them, but these produced no irritation at all which is a great bonus. I also find them great for cleaning makeup off my hands when applying it in the car (as a passenger, I might add!) and generally for any emergency small spills, marks etc. They have always easily matched the performance of other supermarket own brands for me, and outperformed value / basics ones. Overall, they are great value at 79p a pack for 80 wipes.

Great price, pack could be better, wipes too dry

I buy a lot of products from aldi and I was dissapointed with these wipes compared to other own brand wipes that are around the same price. You get 80 wipes for 79p which is a great price. These wipes are available in normal or sensitive, they are hypoallergenic, fragrance free (sensitive wipes), cotton soft embossed and contain a dermatologically tested lotion with natural aloe vera and chamomile which is basically the same as well known brands but at a fraction of the cost. These wipes are easy to open but unfortunatly they only have the sticky bit of plastic to close them which as we mothers know don't stay sticky, don't close and dry out the wipes. I found these wipes dry compared to other similar priced supermarket brands, however this could be due to the opening of the pack or they are just dry wipes. If these wipes were to have a plastic clip shut pack I would definatly try these wipes again as they are soft, they do the job but I personally dont feel they are wet enough to give baby a clean.
