Nice thick cream, pleasant smell, reduces redness, does it's job!

When I had my first daughter I got free samples of Bepanthen and Sudacreme nappy creams and started off using these but I didn't find either of them effective so I searched for an alternative. As I was already using Weleda Baby Shampoo & Body Wash I looked to the same range and found this product.

It comes in quite a large tube which lasts a long time. It is a very thick white cream and the tube is made of metal which does make the cream feel very cold when it first comes out so I tend to squeeze it onto my hand first and rub it a bit to warm it up before application.

This product is definitely the most effective nappy cream I have tried. It reduces redness in the nappy area after only one application so I don't need to use it every time I change my baby's nappy (which is not something generally recommended anyway). You only need to apply a thin layer of it so it does last for ages, in fact my first daughter was potty trained and out of nappies before the first tube I bought was empty! I now have another baby and continue to use it.

It has a pleasant but subtle smell. It has a long best before date and it doesn't state any use within x months of opening so I can only presume it is ok to continue using it until the actual best before date.

It is quite expensive compared to other nappy creams and it doesn't seem to be available in Boots or supermarkets but it is worth searching out. I bought mine from my local independent health products shop. It is definitely worth the extra money because it does last a very long time and is an effective product.

A deep-nourishing and protective barrier cream to help prevent redness and reduce soreness. A baby’s skin is delicate, and this is particularly true around the nappy area. Nappies get wet and it is therefore not suprising that the skin around the nappy ar
