Africa is usually considered to be a very backward, un-developed and Dark Continent, but it is good to know the inner story. Africa is one of the best places to visit. From Mauritius to The Gambia is all surrounded by Lakes, Beaches, Valleys and a Sea of cultures.

Although some countries of Africa are not developed, the people here are cold and happy. The suicide rate in Africans is very minute. Africans are usually built up and muscular, due to the hard work. African is a continent with several countries.

Now, primitive man is thought to be from Africa. Darwin discovered that the first type of Man existed in parts of Kenya. These people then started immigrating to other areas in search of more favorable conditions.

Some of the most important features of Africa are;

Richness in Minerals;
Most African countries are very rich in minerals. Nigeria is amongst one of the largest Oil producing countries. Ghana exports cocoa, one of the constituents of Chocolate. You can imagine that, Niger which is entirely embedded in the Sahara desert is also rich in a mineral; Uranium.

Temperature;
The concept that this continent is very hot still exists in many. Most African countries have very reasonable moderate temperature, probably except the ones in the Sahara desert. I have lived in Sierra Leone and the average temperature here through out the year is 25-30 C.

Lakes & Rivers;
There are several Lakes found here, but the bookmarked ones include Victoria Lake and Lake Chad. Now, River Nile which emerges from Victoria Lake is considered to be the longest river in the World.


Safari Parks and National Parks;
Kenya has one of the best Safari Parks in the World. Here, you can actually get a real experience of wild life. Nigeria also has a number of National Parks.

Cost of Living;
An important feature of this continent is that the cost of living here is very cheap.

What I have told you is just an introduction to this continent and you need to find out a lot more if you plan to visit.
