Alcudia

There are some places where you go on holiday and you forget you have been there, this is not one of them places! I loved Alcudia when we visited in late August 2007. This was my first holiday away on my own, and it was with my boyfriend. Being the first holiday on my own and with my boyfriend, (we had been together around a year at the time!) there are so many things that could have gone wrong, and well they didn't! We stayed in the bellvue hotel self catering for 1 week, and while it isnt the best hotel I have been too it was more than adeqaute. Alcudia is on the north coast of Majorca aka Mallorca... and is the perfect resort for families. Unfortunately the transfer from the airport is about 60km but it is a pretty much straight road to Alcudia so is an easy enough journey whether tavelling by coach or taxi transfer or even if you've hired your very own car for the holiday... The actual town of Alcudia is about 2 miles away from the coast, but is a lovely little place to explore - plenty of history to check out and they also offer guided tours around the old town. I'm shocked to read of bad experiences in the holiday resort I've been to the most in my lifetime. Majorca in general is a lovely friendly place and but Alcudia has a special place in my heart. When I Was younger my parents took me and my brother there on holiday 4 times and I absolutely loved it, from the 5 a side park to the bars and hospitality, it was a great place to go. I always vowed that when I was old enough to go on holiday without my parents I would go to Alcudia. i have just got bac from the bellevue apartments in alcudia in spain the place was not clean the cleans were ment to come in 4 times a week they came in 4 times in 2 weeks we told them that the place was not clean they did nothing about this we had the same tea towel for 2 weeks the dust under the beds were not nice we told the reps when we find one but still nothing really got done so now ive got to sort now im bac in england we will not go there every again. we had to see the doctors 2 times when we was there so we would not re vist again and i would tell over peaple not to ...  Read the complete review

we stayed in bellevue apartments in alcudia. It was nice enough but the only thing that would put me of going back again is the mosquitos we got bit i don't how many times. There were days out and yes they are good we went to western water park and that was a good day. I would reccommend to everyone who go to spain to visit marineland it is fantastic the dolphin show and seals were amazing . We did enjoy ourselves in the bellevue apartments there were blocks of apartments all over the show but admist it all there was a place called the red lion lovely place to eat, kids entertainment, the staff was really friendly and helpful, so would reccommend this bar to eat. ...  Read the complete review
