I live in the hearth of Puglia, so it's too easy, and too difficult to speak about it. I could speak for one day about my native land. There are many beatiful things to enjoy. You can visit Castel del Monte, a beautiful castle by Fredric II, in the north of Puglia. In the south there are trulli, the tipical building made of stones. Another beautiful village in the >North of Puglia is Trani, famous for its beautiful romanic cathedral on the sea. You can have a walk in the centre and buy a croissant with ice cream...very delicious! In the south you can visit Castellana caves, spectacular caves, especially when you arrive in the "White cave". It's so beautiful that I can't describe it! If you like big beaches you are in the right place. We have got clean sea and beaches where you can go from May to October. The biggest towns in Puglia are Bari, Lecce, Foggia, Taranto and Brindisi. The most beautiful are Bari and Lecce. If you wanna know something more about Bari, please read my opinion about it. Lecce is a very nice town, in Barocco style, with big squares in the historical centre. If you like classical music, you can enjoy marvellous concerts. In Puglia you can eat lots of good dishes: orecchiette (the tipical pasta dish) with tomato sauce or vegetables, many kinds of fishes, panzerotti (they are like pizza, but usually are fried), mozzarella (made near Bari, in a village called Gioia del Colle) and a variety of cheese.
