When I visited Bari, I was really on a tight budget and wasn't even supposed to be in Italy at all at the time, had I budgeted for a trip to Italy then I imagine I would have indulged in what Bari had to offer, which of course being Italy was lots of fine food! For a relatively small city, there seemed to be a huge range of dining options and some of the food on show smelt and looked absolutely mouth-watering. I live in Bari. It’s in the south-east of Italy, in front of Greece, in fact there is a big port where you can take a ferryboat to go to Patrass or Athens. You can arrive to Bari by plane (there is an airport at Bari-Palese, by car along the motorway A3, by train from Milan or Rome) It’s a quite big town (about 350,000 inhabitants) and it’s full of beautiful places to visit. The climate is really sweet in every season. During the winter there are about 6° and 35° during the summer. You think it’s too hot! But if you go near the sea, you won’t notice it!
