not as bad as everyone says! (Benidorm)

Advantages: gorgeous beaches

Disadvantages: food selection

I went to Benidorm in February 08 and was really quite surprised! I before I went people had told me that it was like Blackpool but with sun but it is so much nicer than Blackpool! The week we arrived Benidorm had had lovely weather for a couple of weeks but this changed when we got there, it wasnt cold but it was very windy and grey. Despite this we did manage to get a few days on the gorgeous Levante beach which has play areas on for children and is very close to a MacDonalds amongst other restaurants and the beach goes on for miles! We stayed in the Levante Club hotel and the rooms there are fantastic and the view over the mountains is amazing! The only thing about this hotel was that the food selection was not fantastic so despite being full board we did eat out a lot of the time. We also had a night out at the Benidorm Palace to watch a show and this was good but if we went back we would not go again. All in all the holiday was good it was just a shame about the weather! (then again thats what you get for going in February!)

Summary: would definitely go back again if it was cheap enough!
