Branson

My family vacationed in Branson, Missouri in late June and were thrilled with our time there. There is so much to see and do in the small but charming town of Branson. All of the attractions are fairly close together so you won't have to be driving very far from activity to activity. There is an abundance of hotels, restaurants and shows. If you do a little research you can find reasonably priced lodging and restaurants. There are many coupons and discount books offered for the attractions as well, yet they are often only a small percentage off of the regular admission price. Silver Dollar City is the theme park of Branson. It's a lot of fun, and especially for someone who's British! They have all sorts of things we class as "Old Western" etc, like tin photos you can have taken, dressed in costume, kettle corn, as well as all sorts of crafts. There are some restaurants on site that are very reasonably priced, one of them is situated underground in the theme of a mine shaft. Fun! The rides are fun, especially in summer when the water part of the park comes in handy. You can even make your own rock video there!
