Harbour Lights (Bridgetown)
Member Name: Morgenhund
Advantages: All inclusive cover charge Disadvantages: Taxis outside can rip you off
One of the most happening nightspots in Bridgetown is "Harbour Lights" on Bay Street. The club is very relaxed about dress code, and for a $B35 (about GBP12) cover charge, you can get in and have a big night out. For this price you can have unlimited beer, rum, vodka or gin with mixers and they actively expect you to order in multiple quantities. The music varies from reggae through to 70s cheese, and the crowd in usually mainly tourists, although there are some locals, although the cover charge is too high for most Bajans to afford. Outside there are fast food stands and a lot of taxis. Taxidrivers can rip you off if your drunken state - and this can spoil the evening a bit. Every night has something happening but Friday night was a big one. Summary: |
