I had been waiting for Blade 2, I really enjoyed the first one so when it came out on Good Friday I went to see it. I wasn’t sure what to expect, I didn’t want it to be really rubbish like some sequels are but to my satisfaction I was wrong. The film was as good and Blade. Don’t worry if you have not seen Blade as you can still watch this film and understand it fully, as it starts off with Blade explaining how Blade finished, he tells you everything you need to know before we get to the story. In October and November of 2001 I spent six wonderful weeks in Cameroon with my Cameroonian husband. It was my first trip to Africa and the third-world and it certainly was an eye-opener! The poverty is of course the first thing you notice, but once you look past that you find a land full of wonderful people and wonderful scenery. Cameroon has been ruled by a dictator for nearly twenty years. Cameroon is one of the most resource-rich countries in Africa, with enough revenue to adequately feed, shelter and educate each and every Cameroonian. In October 2000, I spent 6 weeks in Cameroon, with a colleague, as part of our medical training called our 'elective'. It had taken months of forward planning to arrange our elective at Banso Baptist Hospital, in the Republic of Cameroon, followed by four weeks travelling to see some of the highlights that Africa has to offer.
