Lanzarote is one of the lesser known Canary Islands, but it does have a good night-life if you stay in the main resorts.

There are plenty of other attractions on the Island, such as Timanfaya (the volcano) which is dormant, meaning it could errupt at any time - but don't worry, it has'nt done for about 100 years.

There are vinyards all over the Island, a good idea to visit if you want some cheap booze!

The main drawback with the resort is that it is windy! At least it was for the whole time I was there, and other people I know say the same thing.

If you want a break off peak, it is worth a visit though as despite the wind it is still warm being so far south.
