Chile is a country of incredible diversity. In the North there exists the Atacama Desert, allegedly the driest desert in the world, with the incredible salt planes. In the centre is the wine growing region, a great place to just meander slowly through trying lots of cheeky little numbers. Then there is the Lake District with some incredible skiing (the slopes aren't as good as France, but the setting is far better - ever skied on a smoking volcano in France? ) If you get the chance go for a few weeks. And if you a really brave why not venture to the somewhat wierd Easter Island??? ... Read the complete review
