Chuncheon Dam is much smaller than its counterparts but its location is no less spectacular. Chuncheon nestles snugly below the forested peaks of the Diamond Mountains. With clear blue lakes to the east and west, the capital of Gangwon Province forms an idyllic gateway to Korea's major mountain recreation area and the wonderful East Sea coastline.
