Many people have not heard of this state, probably because its the second smallest state in the USA (Rhode Island wins that honour). I lived there for a year so got to know what life in Delaware was really like. Delaware is a tax-free state which is great for shopping. You only have to pay tax on hotel/motels. The weather is variable not much different to the UK, only that when its cold its colder and whn its hot its much hotter. The year i was there, it was an extremely hot summer with temperatures reaching 100 degrees F. Delaware is an Atlantic state, its capital is Dover and it has many beaches.
