You need to wait one week after Labor Day has passed and all Hotels and Condos are 40 to 50 percent cheaper than they were the week of Labor Day or before Labor Day. This is not your party town that is about a 45 minute driving east in Panama City Beach. This is more a family oriented place to enjoy the beauty of the ocean and the beach. Destin lies on what is called the Emerald Coast, you can see the green emerald ocean and the beauty it provides. If you have never been on the Gulf side of Florida, you are missing it all. Destin, Florida is a fun family vacation place. Located on the pan handle of Florida it is part of the Emerald Coast. It is in the Top Ten List of Best Beaches in USA. It has White sand and, clear clean water. They also have fun places to go like Big Kahunas, a water park, and The Track, a place with Go Karts and much more. They has resturaunts with some good food and entertainment, like McGuires, The Crap Trap, and Busters. I would definately recommend this for a fun vacation. ... Read the complete review
