Outside and inside Germany, Dortmund tends to be known for only one reason: football. Remember the yellow and black stripes? Most people I have spoken to could hardly remember where the place was at all, others had a vague idea that it was "somewhere close to Bonn or somewhere", even others got the location wrong totally.
